Her City View

One of the events I looked forward to during my Disney/ABCTV L.A trip was walking the red carpet during the BIG HERO 6 premiere. While I've attend many movie screening, media days and actor meet and greets, this would be my first time on the red carpet. I was so excited!

To prepare for my first red carpet walk, I picked a dress that was comfortable but stylish. In general I'm not a flashy dresser. I prefer clothing that have unique and pretty detailing. I found a great dress that offered both comfort and lovely lace detailing on the top, sides and back. I thought the plum color was so lovely.


My dress fit right in with the looks of the other bloggers also walking the red carpet with me. We are such a lovely group!

When I received my ticket and admit gold band to the screening and after party, things became so real to me. There is was in red and black letters.


When the moment came for me to step foot on the red carpet it was AMAZING. There's lights, cameras and people everywhere! So many things happening all at once it can be a bit overwhelming. As I walked with my group, we stopped to take photos in front of the displays and of the displays themselves.

The whole area was decorated with BIG HERO 6 displays. It was so lovely to see. Looking back I didn't capture as much as I would have liked, since I had to keep moving along to keep the red carpet following. So please enjoy these red carpet photos shared by Disney.

I did see a few of the BIG HERO 6 stars on the red carpet doing interviews and having their own photo moments. They posed for photos and even did their superhero pose.

After a bit we all headed inside to the screen the movie, which I enjoyed so much. You can read my review of the movie to find out if you I think your family will enjoy it. I did and I believe you and your family will also!

After the movie screening, I attended the BIG HERO 6 premiere after party at Yamashiro Hollywood, which was such lovely building. It has Asian inspired look and feel. There was even a pond in the middle.

While enjoying the after party, I met some of the BIG HERO 6 voice actors like Ryan Potter the voice for Hiro Hamada, Daniel Henney (major swoon) who voices Tadashi, and T.J Miller voiced for Fred.


I also met Hiro and Baymax who joined me in a group photo.

I spent the rest of the night playing games, decorating (and eating) cupcakes and of course gaming! What a truly amazing day!
