This October, join Behind the Sweets: Chocolate Tours on a journey through Philadelphia's chocolate history, hosted by Historic Philadelphia, Inc. (HPI) every Thursday starting October 9.

Immerse in the artistry and heritage of local chocolate-making traditions and learn how experts at Shane’s Confectionery transform cacao beans into delicious bars. Discover the evolution of chocolate from Colonial times to today while indulging in handcrafted tastings that exhibit changing flavors and techniques throughout time.

Price: Tickets: $30 per person
Along the way, you will taste four unique sweet samples that showcase the evolution of flavor and technique. With vegan and gluten-free options available, this hands-on experience includes up to 18 guests per session.
