Going to L.A. to find Ant-Man and The Wasp

By June 21, 2018 ,

If you saw Avengers: Infinity War a few weeks back (didn't everyone?!), I bet you started wondering something while watching the film. Yes I know there was LOTS of things happening, which is exactly why I noticed 'this' something.

Onica Cupido Going to L.A. for Ant-Man and The Wasp

The end of the world was happening! So ALL the superheros should be there trying to save the world right? But a little someone(s) wasn't! I'm looking at you Ant-Man! And you The Wasp!

Note: Marvel Studios, Freeform and Disney Junior invited me on this all expense paid trip to Los Angeles for the Ant-Man and The Wasp Event. While I will share different events and activities during the trip, any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

Why weren't they there trying to save the world along with the other Avengers?! I need answers. And I'm going to get them! This week I'm traveling to L.A for the #AntManAndTheWaspEvent press junket, where I'll interview the ANT-MAN AND THE WASP cast including Paul Rudd!

Along with Paul Rudd (“Scott Land / Ant-Man”), I also get to speak with Evangeline Lilly (“Hope van Dyne / The Wasp”), Michael Douglas (“Dr. Hank Pym”), Laurence Fishburne (“Dr. Bill Foster”), Hannah John-Kamen (“Ghost”) and Director Peyton Reed.

I can not wait! I need all the details of what Scott has been up, how Hope is settling into being The Wasp, how I can make my own giant Hello Kitty candy dispenser like the one in the trailer? Didn't see it? Then watch it now to see what other things shirk and enlarge. LOL

SYNOPSIS

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father.

As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, with Laurence Fishburne and Michael Douglas.

Ant-Man and The Wasp Event

But that's not all I'm doing while in L.A.

I'll also attend a #CloakAndDaggerEvent screening of Freeform’s new original series “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger,” before interviewing Andrea Roth (“Melissa Bowen”), Miles Mussenden (“Michael Johnson”) and Executive Producer Joe Pokaski (“Daredevil,” “Underground”).

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger has already released a few episodes and it's really good. If you haven't learned a bit about the series then check out. “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger,” is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.

Disney Junior's "Fancy Nancy"

Then I'll end my trip's with a Disney Junior special screening of the upcoming series "Fancy Nancy", followed by a Q&A with Jamie Mitchell (Executive Producer/Director) and Krista Tucker (Story Editor).

Based on the New York Times bestselling books by Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser, the "Fancy Nancy" series is an animated family comedy centered around six-year-old Nancy, a girl who likes to be fancy in everything from her advanced vocabulary to her creative, elaborate attire.

"Fancy Nancy" premieres FRIDAY, JULY 13 (11:00 A.M. EDT/PDT), on Disney Junior, DisneyNOW and Disney Junior VOD.
