Levi and Swash Clothing Care System Preview
In Levi store Soho, I previewed new Swash system with Kate Young (fashion stylist) to see how it dewrinkles, refreshes and restores clothes in just 10 minutes.
Note: I was invited as media to this event. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

Swash system is the brainchild of Whirlpool and P&G and the system can hold up to 2 garments including shirts, jackets, and pants.
The system is safe on all fabrics like denim, wool, polyester, lycra, cotton, and hard to care for favorites like cashmere, sequins, delicate beading and lace. It is not recommended for leather, velvet, suede, silk or fur.
The Swash difference: Same jeans, one washed in regular laundry 10x vs. Swash jeans
Easy steps - hang and clip clothing in machine, drop in Tide Pod, hit the start button! The device is about the size of a small bookshelf and simple to hookup (just plug into standard outlet) and use.
At the Levi store, they showed how to hook up sweaters and jeans, and I even threw in my cashmere cardigan, and it came out smelling like warm fresh laundry and looked like it was newly pressed! Think about the possibilities of having pressed warm pillowcases or sheets!
Just think, all the button down shirts that just need to be ironed out and refreshed, done by the time you get out of the shower. Or those brand new dark jeans that you don't really want to wash every week because you know the color will fade faster but they are starting to smell a bit or gets stretched with every wear.
Or coming home from a bar and your jacket reeks of smoke but you don't want to send it to the dry cleaners because you need it tomorrow. Or wanting fresh pressed warm pillowcases/sheets for bed (because unless you are Martha Steward, no one irons/steams their bedsheets). Voila, Swash to the rescue!
Swash system can be bought at Best Buy, Beth, Bath & Beyond and Bloomingdalesfor $500. There is currently an offer on the website for a $50 rebate on your purchase between 11/28 - 12/15.
The Swash Tide Pods retail for about $6 for a box of 12 and come in different scents/non-scented.
