Burlington Coat Factory and TheMoms hosted an event with Wendy Williams in connection with her new novel “Hold Me In Contempt.”

During the event Wendy spoke candidly about the books storyline and her writing process. Wendy keep it real with everyone at the event and kept us laughing and talking along like long time friends.

Shopping at Burlington Coat Factory

Before the event, guest received gift cards to shop for an outfit for the night thanks to TheMoms and Burlington Coat Factory.

I spent some serious time going through the isles of the store and found items that tapped into the trend of both patterns and colors. There's a dressing room in the store so seeing how an item looks before purchase is easy.


First item I tried on was a dress that had this awesome colors stripes on the bottom. I really liked that the look went from black and white to color.


The next dress I tried had a great pattern of triangle in white, black and purples. The neckline on this dress was different and eye catching.


After trying on a few more dresses, I switched to this colorful top. The arms has cut out open panels that really give this shirt a special look.

After trying on lots of different styles, I chose the beautiful Salmon colored shirt with amazing detailing on the front and arms. It was a perfect look for the night and for meeting Wendy Williams.
