Meeting Deion Sanders & Celebrities at EA Sports Madden NFL 12 Pro-Am
EA Sports hosted Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am celebrity event in NYC Bryant Park, where I met and interviewed Legendary NFL alumni Dan Marino and Deion Sanders, along with celebrities Chris Meloni (Law & Order: SVC) and Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) before they took the field for the action-packed game.
Note: As media I was invited to cover the event, I was give exclusive access to the field for interviews and photos. However, any views expressed are always 100% my own.
I was AWED as I stood on the field sideline looking at the players and celebrities, as they warmed up on the field. In the stands the fans cheered and waved with such excitement. Then Deion Sanders walked over to the sidelines for the interviews.
During my interview I tried to get the scoop from Deion on what gamers can look forward to while playing Madden NFL 12. I tried getting him to talk about any special moves we can learn about before anyone else. Watch the below video to hear what he had to say
Deion Sanders Interview at EA Sports Madden NFL Event
Ah that Deion! It was fun to interview him, and while I wished I could stand there gazing at him all day, I had to move on and meet the other players and celebrities before the game started!
I was lucky enough to spot Jerry Rice, while he was being interviewed by another press person. Then I watch actors Anthony Rice and Terry Crews tossing some ball for the fans, before stopping to pose for photos with me and the other media covering the event.
Anthony felt we should show off our guns. LOL
Other celebrities stopped to pose for photos for the press before the official call for the game to start. These guys were SO wonderful, friendly and so fun!
